Our Blacksmithing Classes provided by Platinum Star Forge offer a hands-on opportunity to shape hot steel with hammer and fire under guided instruction in an authentic festival setting.

Whether you are brand new to the forge or simply ready to try something bold and memorable, this small-group class ensures personal attention and a truly immersive experience.

Class Details

Class Size:
Limited to 4 participants per session for safety and quality instruction.

Pricing:

  • 1.5 Hour Class — $50 per person
  • 3 Hour Class — $100 per person

  • 8:30 AM – 10:00 AM
  • 10:15 AM – 11:45 AM
  • 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM
    — Large Public Demonstration
  • 1:30 PM – 4:30 PM
  • 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Sunday Schedule

  • 10:40 AM – 12:10 PM

    — Large Public Demonstration

The public demonstrations are open for all festival guests to observe and enjoy.

What to Bring

For safety and participation, all students must:

  • Wear closed-toe shoes
  • Wear non-plastic pants (natural fibers only)
  • Sign a liability waiver prior to class

We provide:
